ASHRAE Meetings
Meetings of the Baltimore
Chapter of ASHRAE are generally held at 7:00 pm at the Engineering Society of
Baltimore on the first or second Thursday of the month. The meetings are typically preceded by a
related Technical Session at 5:00 pm and a social hour at 6:00. Please consult the chapter calendar for exact
dates and details, and for special events.
There is usually one facility tour scheduled each year on a regular
meeting date which requires early registration by all attendees. Make your reservations as early as possible
with the Attendance/Reception Chair below.
All meetings will be advertised in the Thermogram upon its
publication. For additional questions on

ASHRAE Board of Governors
Meeting - September 16, 2010 (all board members must attend)
The next Board of Governors
meeting will be held at the offices of The Trane Company on September 16, 2010 at 7:30 am. Please note that any ASHRAE chapter member may attend a board meeting, and
that all committee chairs are encouraged to be present. For more information on this meeting please contact

ASHRAE Region III CRC 2010
Region III held its CRC 2010 on
August 12 through 14 this year in Newark, Delaware at the Hilton Christiana
Hotel. Links for the event can be found

There are 13 local ASHRAE
chapters in our region covering Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland and Virginia;
each year the CRC rotates from chapter to chapter. Please direct any followup conference

ASHRAE 2010 Annual Conference
in Albuquerque, NM

more information. The meeting was held
at the Rosen Shingle Creek Hotel in Albuquerque, New Mexico from June 26
through June 30; the theme was "Raising Efficiency to New Levels."
ASHRAE
The golf outing took place on
Friday, June 11th at the Turf Valley Country Club in Ellicott City. For more information on the event please

ASHRAE Baltimore Spring Event -
Casino Night at the National Aquarium in
On the evening of Saturday, April 17th, 2010 the
ASHRAE Baltimore Chapter hosted its annual spring event, "Casino
Night" at the National Aquarium in Baltimore. We extend many thanks to all of our sponsors
for the evening who helped to make the evening a

ASHRAE Winter Conference &
AHR Expo
The 2010 ASHRAE Winter Conference was
held in Orlando, Florida from Saturday January 23rd to Wednesday the 27th; the
headquarters hotel & technical program location was the Rosen Shingle Creek
Hotel, with the accompanying 62nd Annual AHR Expo held
at the Orange County Convention Center from Monday the 25th to Wednesday the
27th. For more information:
The Solar Decathlon, promoted by the US Department
of Energy, took place in October. More
information can be found by going to the associated website for this year's
event: http://www.solardecathlon.org. ASHRAE has always been a proud supporter of
this event.
Chapters Regional Conference (Region III)
This year ASHRAE Region III held its Chapters Regional Conference (CRC) on
August 13, 14 and 15, 2009 at the Marriott at Metro Center in Washington, DC.
